ABOUT

The Corpus Club is a forum where PhD students, postdoctoral students, and university lecturers meet regularly to discuss and train in best practices regarding electronic corpora.

Corpus Club members believe in sharing information and helping each other. Workshops are based on group members’ needs and interests; they also design and run workshops according to their knowledge and skills. When necessary, the Corpus Club invites guest speakers to share new work on corpus linguistics with the aim of improving its members’ skills.

In addition to holding workshops, the Corpus Club has a research blog called Hypotheses (https://clubcorpus.hypotheses.org/) where ideas and information on compiling and studying corpora are shared in a convivial and relaxed setting.

Anyone interested in corpus linguistics is welcome to attend the workshops.
